I have just started Musely as well that has niacinamide in it. I was wondering if you have any advice possibly like where and when in my routine I should be using it (I just read someone said after applying niacinamide and I was shooketh). All in all can’t really complain there is definitely room for improvement!! Also I live in Wisconsin and the winter can be really hard on your skin.Īnyhow I have an LED light mask (the only marking on it says Facial Whitening Instrument on the control panel but it looks just like this one: ) and I have been using it but not sure I’m even using it properly and am annoyed now for being dumb and possibly (probably) wasting my time. While I have taken fairly good care of my skin in my life (never tanned etc) I still have a few fine lines and a couple of sun spots on my cheeks and a bit of redness from acne/cellulitis in the past. My parents liked mine so much (for pain relief) they purchased the model below, it was around 600 or 700. Having had it for, well, it's been at least 2 years now, I would buy again at full price, if that were in my budget. The only downside is it takes 30 minutes so you have to make time for it, however, it is crazy relaxing so I often fall asleep if I don't put a podcast on or something to engage my mind. I've even used it for stomach aches and period cramps. The pro panel is pretty large so I use it on my lower back, neck, when my IT band is hurting, etc. I'm 35 in June and haven't scientifically documented my skin or anything but I do feel like it helps keep my skin in shape and I look very youthful. I do use the wrinkle setting and the pain setting all the time. The acne setting works for sure, however, I don't have acne anymore so rarely use it. Celluma is very involved in providing its products at a military discount because they pain setting is very effective. The gentlemen is a vet and he already had the same model, but he won this one (some sort of miliitary related thing where it was donated, don't remember the details) so was selling it for a steal. I ended up getting SUPER lucky and found one listed on FB for 600. I was super impressed and wanted it but it's 1,600 dollars. We talked for two hours and then she emailed me a whole bunch of stuff, images, studies, data, it was very comprehensive. I actually called the company, who put me in touch with the rep for my state. I found out about it from a beauty influencer on Youtube while searching for an LED brand. Late to chime in but I have a Celluma Pro! I was thinking about getting a full body LED panel at some point so hopped on reddit and found this sub.

So, I'm very skeptical, not because of the science, but because of the lack of seemingly credible reviews. Obviously any med spa that pays to own one of these, will not say it doesn't work. I asked a esthetician on reddit who said her practice got one of these what the results were, and crickets. It is very complicated, taking variables such as J/cm2, length of time etc into consideration which is why the celluma appeals to me, but I have been on the fence about it for months and still am. Dray, and they both are on the fence although based on my research I will definitely be buying an infared LED therapy device, but not a mask. David Lim is someone I watch, along with Dr. I am HIGHLY suspicious that there are literally ZERO reviews of the celluma mask with the exception of one beauty influencer.

I talked to one person who used it for acne and it didn't work, probably because she was suffering from hormonal acne, but I will be following this thread like a hawk. I have been trying to find someone that actually owns one, and have yet to come in contact with a reputable person that I feel is being honest with their ownership of one. See my post in r/AsianBeauty which was also crossposted here.
